Excerpt from Press Release
"Using colorful, intricate compositions, which at first glance appear playful and whimsical, Through the Eye of the Storm features drawings, collages, prints and animation that illuminate a complex dialogue of Khan’s personal catharsis with violence, war, economic downturn, and identity – he uses a wide array of subject matter from memories and observations such as deconstructed camouflage, traffic cones, I-beams, automobiles, debris and fragmented roads."
